Luke Bryan’s CMA “Intervention”
Luke Bryan turned a lot of heads with his CMA Awards performance of “Country Girl (Shake It For Me.)” He also got the attention of his friends Jason Aldean and Colt Ford. Jason told Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton: “Me ands Colt Ford had an intervention with him. I said, ‘First of all, Michael Jackson is gone, and you’re copying his moves.’ But in honesty, he was so excited, it was his first performance on a major awards show like that. He was so jacked up about performing, he had a blast. But I had to give him some grief for some of his dance moves. To quote Maroon 5, he’s got moves like Jagger.”

There were a few other performances that caught Jason’s attention, like Sara Evans and the aerialists, reminiscent of Cirque du Soleil: “I had one right above me, and she had fell, she would have killed me. Dierks was sitting next to me, and at one point, she flipped that sheet thing that she was hanging from and it hit him right in the face. I don’t think anybody saw that. It was cool, looked great on TV, but I thought I was in Vegas for a moment.”
