Trace Adkins: No Debt Crisis Today

Trace Adkins has a message for you today: Pay no attention to that newscaster on TV.  There is no debt crisis today.  There’s only one thing you need to know, and that’s his new album, “Proud To Be Here,” is available everywhere.  But he’s also aware there may be some other issues fighting for attention.  He told Westwood One, “My album comes out August 2nd.  And when is the deadline for reaching an agreement on the debt crisis?  August the 2nd!  So what do you think’s gonna dominate the press that day?  Here I am fighting for scraps trying to get someone to pay attention to me.  I’m supposed to be on the Today Show and Fox & Friends.  I wouldn’t be surprised if I just get canceled, they don’t even wanna talk to me.  I would completely understand it. That’s just my luck, though.”
