Kenny Chesney Misses the ACMs

 Kenny Chesney was nominated for four Academy of Country Music Awards this year.  But for the first time in 17 years, he didn’t attend the ceremony.  Instead, he performed a free show in Houston for the NCAA Final Four.  That doesn’t mean he missed the show.  He told CCUSA’s Lon Helton that he watched some of the show on TV, including Taylor Swift’s performance.  “I’ve been to the ACMs 17 straight years, but I really wanted to go to the Final Four.  That’s one thing I enjoyed about my year off, doing things I want to do, not things I have to do.”  Kenny’s show in Houston took place the same night as the ACMs.  However, Kenny wasn’t able to stay in Houston to watch the basketball finals Monday night
