Jerrod Has Friends in Garth’s Places

Today we know Jerrod Niemann for hits like “Lover, Lover” and “What Do You Want.”  But ten years ago, he was just a new singer/songwriter from Kansas hoping for a big break.  He got it very quickly when Garth Brooks asked him & friend Ritchie Brown to write a tribute to Chris LeDoux called “Good Ride Cowboy.”  The song went to #1 in  2005.  The two have kept in touch over the years.   Jerrod was playing a show recently in Tulsa, and Garth invited him to the Brooks ranch for lunch.  In addition, Jerrod attended the final Nashville benefit concert Garth gave last December.
