Ramblin' Ray Stevens

Ramblin’ Ray, host of Westwood One’s Country’s Cutting Edge, is also Morning Co-Host at WUSN, US-99 in Chicago.  He was named Best Morning Personality in Chicago at the 2001 AIR Awards. Listeners describe Ray as a "regular guy", the kind of guy you wouldn't mind having as a neighbor as long as you have a tall fence.

Feature: The Lost Trailers introduce songs from their new CD, including the Top 10 hit "Holler Back." 

The guys also talk about touring with Kenny Chesney and Trace Adkins, and the advice and support they've received from those superstars.

In addition, Lee Ann Womack updates us on her next album, "Call Me Crazy," due out in October.  She introduces the current single, "Last Call."

Plus Ray plays new singles by Chris Cagle, Jake Owen, Billy Currington, and Randy Houser.

Weekend of September 6-7

Feature: James Otto introduces the follow-up to his first #1, "Just Got Started Loving You."  The song is called "For You," and James says it's his favorite song on his new CD.

In addition, we meet newcomer Randy Houser, who has just released his debut single, "Anything Goes."  Randy was also the co-writer on the Trace Adkins hit, "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk," and he tells the circumstances behind that hit.

Also, Ray chats with American Idol finals Kristy Lee Cook, and plays her debut single, "Fifteen Minutes of Shame."

Plus Ray plays new singles from Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, and Nashville Star winner Melissa Lawson.
