Dierks Bentley’s Baby Boy Knox

dierks +knoxDierks Bentley’s son Knox is now 10 months old.  So how has having three children changed his life?  He talked about it with Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton:

Give us the Knox update: I can do a whole ‘nother show on kids.  It’s crazy, the love, the pain, the joy, the heartbreak they bring in your lives.  He’s 10 months, he’s trying to walk, he crawls on the walls, great personality, goes with the flow, real gamer, he’s up for anything, he’s funny, you can count on  him to be consistent in his behavior, which I appreciate.  If he’s crying, it’s because he’s hungry or tired.  Otherwise, he’s in a good mood.  I am so lucky, I get to go on the road, play for over 20,000 people every night, and on top of that, have a family.  It’s rare to have both a family and a busy life.  I know it’s a special time in my life, and I know it’s not going to last forever.  Kids grow up, fans go away, but I feel so blessed to be in this spot I am now.

It must be difficult with 3.  Do they come on the road?  Three is like having a thousand.  It’s crazy.  They come on the road.  My bus and home looks like a bomb went off.  You can fight that battle, but I did a CMT Cribs thing a few years ago, and my house was clean.  If they could only see it now.  There’s stuff everywhere.  But if you want to be present with your kids, you can’t worry about that. But it’s fun, I’m loving it, and grateful to have it all happen now.
